DAILY BLOG - Friday Dec.9
Good evening! This your daily blog for Friday December 9th!
The sun returned! Only briefly, but hey we will take what we can get! I hope you enjoyed it because we have some changes coming. For the rest of tonight, I cannot totally rule out a rain shower, but most of the precipitation comes tomorrow as you will see below.
TOMORROW: Tomorrow will feature Rain for all! Think most everybody will get at least a 1/2 inch of rain. Given the elevated instability tomorrow, cannot rule out a rumble of thunder, but severe weather threat is zero.
SUNDAY AND MONDAY: "The calm before the storm". Literally. Sunday, I do think the clouds remain stubborn but some sun is possible. On Monday, I think the sun could return for all, but model guidance has not been in great agreement for the Monday timeframe.
TUESDAY: Tuesday, while severe weather is still on the table, I am beginning to think the main severe weather problems will remain to our south, though we are still several days out, so this could change as we get closer. Regardless of severe weather, several inches of rain is probable Tuesday afternoon and night. This could lead to a localized flooding threat, though flooding may not be a big issue either considering how dry it has been lately.
Looking down the road, I am seeing signals that point to several cold blasts between Wednesday and December 26th. Unsure about wintry precipitation at this point. Stay tuned.
